Based on pride, we will work to build a better Derry that fosters strong community involvement, cooperation, stable growth, responsible taxes and an open representative form of government. We will work towards the future by trying to sustain and improve the quality of life in Derry through innovation, planning and the development of community leaders.

Community for A Better Derry is a grass roots community group that seeks to utilize the strength of interested and concerned Derry citizens to help build a better and stronger community.

We come from all walks of life and have many different perspectives and backgrounds, but we join together in the interest of preserving and strengthening our community spirit.

We welcome any Derry residents interested in taking a proactive role in helping to build A Better Derry.

Our goals focus on strengthening community involvement and building a sense of pride in Derry. We hope to raise awareness about what it is that makes Derry a great community.

By promoting awareness and participation in town events and groups, encouraging involvement in town government, promoting ways to build responsible economic development, and supporting the revitalization of our downtown and local businesses while working to preserve Derry's wide range of natural resources, we hope to give people more of a sense of ownership in the town itself.

We look forward to members of the community joining us in these efforts. Please check out our Get Involved page as well as signing up for our mailing list on this page to stay informed about what's going on in the community. And please check back for more and updated info.
