Group Sponsors Website for Derry History Museum

Community for A Better Derry is proud to announce its sponsorship of the first of its kind web site for the Derry History Museum located in the historic Adams Memorial Building on West Broadway here in Derry. One of Community for A Better Derry's goals is to encourage residents in Derry to take pride in their community and to show some of the things that make Derry a great place to be.

After meeting with Rick Holmes the Museum's curator, it was decided that a website promoting Derry's rich and colorful history was a perfect match with the efforts of the group. Community for A Better Derry is proud to be involved in this effort which will highlight not only the Museum itself but will hopefully give folks a little bit of a "virtual" taste of the historical place of our community. The website will be created and hosted by Wetherbee Creative and Web, the partnership of CBD's co-chair and webmaster, Neil Wetherbee and his wife Wendy and should be completed by early Spring '08.

The Derry History Museum is free to the public and is open on Thursday AND Sunday from 1PM to 4PM. It is located in the lower level of the Adams Memorial Building at 29 West Broadway. Click Here for directions.
